Forgive my long silence but I have been very ill-unable to spend time on the comp or form coherant sentances. I went shopping today and holding onto the cart was the only thing that kept my feet attaached to the ground. When I was not shaking I was digging my nails into my hand while I waited for a friend. I had to put the cart in front of me for protection so no one could accidently touch me. I fear outings won't be feasible in the near future.
I'm sorry, but cannot find the list of service dogs. Google PTSD service dogs and go into www.va.gov to find more listings. You are so dear to me, and when I am able, I will be talking to all of you. Please just say a prayer for me because now it is me that must pledge one day at a time.   Dennine, Lady Courtesan

It's so good to "see" you. I'm very sorry to learn that you're going through a rough patch. I know what you mean about the shopping cart....sometimes, shopping carts can be incredibly grounding...like a magic object.

I don't know you, but what you're going through sounds really tough! maybe severe social anxiety?? Perhaps you can see a therapist and be prescribed ativan for these incidences. Good luck!

Thank you my friends (and Hobbit House). It's CPTSD. Thank you, The Well. I'm back in that place where I think about it every day but have a good roommate who watches out for me. Thank you Sabby. I can't handle reading messages right now, but I can feel your prayers and know that I love you all.
