What was your favorite gift given to you for any occasion?

Mine was my first bicycle without training wheels.
Thanks for this!

Hands down, no doubt my pony.

It's a tie between the gifts Dad always got me for Christmas (sneakily well-researched and noted by him---he was an amazing spy!!!), and the scarf husband brought me one winter (oh so long ago, when we were still dating), which exactly replaced one that had been stolen from me at work...

Either my first phone, or the large collection of makeup I was given. When I was a kid, I saw a skirt I thought was really pretty and ended up getting it for my birthday. That made my day too at the time.

When I got home from inpatient psych after 8 days (2009), my sisters and son and best friend had cleaned my home, had spaghetti sauce and meatballs simmering, and a large basket of flowers for me. The combination was thoughtful beyond measure.

A tie on the following:

1) The piano I got at age 7, I think?

2) Gift cards at places I shop, but can't always afford

3) Food

4) A windshield cleaner that has a reservoir, and a squeegee on one end, and sponge on the other. VERY handy, since the windshield can get grimy anytime, and I might not be near a gas station or anything that would have something to clean it with.

5)A makeup mirror that I had since the 80's with four types of lighting: Day, home, office, and evening.

6)And things done for me, like a tech-savvy friend being like my own personal Geek Squad. He came over to set up my TV. That was a gift, and it wasn't for any occasion, like my birthday or anything. He did it to be giving, and it meant a LOT.

My favorite gift always has been money. I have gotten far too many things I did not like and could not use.
Thanks for this!
