Does anyone on here enjoy cycling? I used to bike an average 20 miles a day, until life stuff and my depression halted all that. I still bike to school, which is maybe 2 miles at most a day.
For me cycling has made me feel alive, especially when you're riding in the middle of nowhere. It's almost meditative, it makes the whole world around you just disappeared, because all that matters is you and the road ahead. Haha, kind of poetic?
Currently I own 3 bikes. (far from professional race quality of course)
-1997 Trek 830 Mt Track XC (which is my favorite for riding
-1974 Schwinn Sprint (for commuting)
-1989-91? Roadmaster mountain bike (absolute piece of junk but perfect for the snow)
I am a big fan of a rider called DurianRider on YouTube, he's my inspiration because the things he does with cycling and life in general are amazing. If only we had more people like him.
Anyway, if you're into

I know what you mean. I used to run like 50 kilometers a week until my anxiety and depression took over. I miss it, I used to feel so great physically and mentally.

Just starting to get back into it now, but more for the endorphin boost.

I love to cycle but because of balance problems I had to get or three wheel bike or give it up. I got the 3-wheeler and I can go everywhere that a 2 wheel bike can go. I often go to a park or just 2 blocks over the desert starts and it can be a beautiful place when you are out there on a bike. You have to watch out for the soft sand but much of the desert is great for biking (watch out for scorpions and rattlers, though).
