I noticed I like the temperature in my house to be about 15C or 59F when I'm chatting on my PC. My wife hates it if she has to get up for any reason. But then again I'm known to go outside at -20C or -4F without a jacket to start the car.

Anyone else love the cold weather?

I prefer the cold weather to warm weather because you can always bundle up to get warm but I always find air conditioning a little to unstable to cool off. I used to always keep my house cooler in the winter, down about 65 or so but now that I don't have to pay for utilites I find I jack it up to a nice comfortable warmth. I don't know what that is though because I live in an old place and all the numbers are gone off my thermostat,

I like cooler weather, too but I live in Texas so it never gets real cold. I can't imagine what it must be like to live where it snows a lot.

Good question!

I've always loved the summer more than the winter, personally.

I find the weather affects my moods so I'm definitely a summer kind of gal.

I don't like when it is too warm or too cold, because I have headache then. So all summer and all winter I have a headache (can you imagine that?). But if I must choose, I prefer colder weather - I can turn on radiators, wrap in the blanket or dress warmly. It's good. And I love snow!

Summer is hard. I'm always dying then. I hate sun!

Yes. During the winter I can open a window or go outside to get cooled off, which I need to do often. During the summer however all I can do is suffer unless I can come up with extra cash for an air conditioner.

The heat is very hard on me physically but I love the cold!

I love cold weather. I can always add more clothes if I'm cold. But if I'm hot I can only take so much off before I start offending the neighbor's dogs and frightening small children.

However, I don't adjust the temperature in the house to my comfort level. We adjust it to my wife and kids because I'm good for about a 30° range of temperatures.

Good question.

I'm in Texas, so it's warm. It's really nice when it's cool enough to get "crispy" air...I open up all of my windows then.

I was in New York, and I don't miss those winters where you are truly cold to the bone. It seemed as if I never got truly warm unless I took a hot bath......

I like the cold not that it ever snows here. I hate the heat anything over 90f makes me uncomfortable.

I love the cold only if it's accompanied with snow......I hate the cold moist weather because it makes it feel even colder. I don't weigh enough to have any reasonable insulation so I always run cold even in the hot summer.

The cost of running my heat pump is exorbitant so I keep the huge house at 65F....but I have a room heater in my bedroom & in the bathroom & that works well.

I do prefer cold to hot because I dress in layers....always have. I grew up & lived in the hot California desert & always wanted to vacation in the winter to my cold slow skii areas....but have to admit...my body would go into shock when flying to Jackson Hole WYO from California....going from 80F to -40F was a shock to my body...but after 2 weeks of living in the cold it was hard to go back to the hot winters of California.

Love where I live now....we get enough snow to really enjoy yet not enough to cover my home & have to dig out. I can wait a few days & not have to even shovel snow but get to play around in it & hike through my woods in the snow with my dogs....but I always have my layers to keep warm.

Have found now that I am on a lower dose of pain medication for my migraines (migraine med doesn't work) the cold does trigger the migraine so I'm not as likely to be going out in the cold without head covering this year.....& I always have to have my mittens on.....cold hands & my whole body is frozen.

I like when it is cold out or a bit cold. Both are OK.

Inside I need 20 c and even with that I feel cold, especially my hands and feet. I never feel this cold when I am outside. I think my blood stops flowing or something once I'm sitting down.

I used to work outside and never put on long underwear until it was -15C (5F) (or colder).
