In 1984, I could go to the dentist--and pay a total of 70 dollars for everything FULL PRICE!
Now, you have to have insurance, and unless you're lucky enough to get full coverage medicaid, your monthly payments and copay each are way more than that. ![]()

I don't have insurance for dental so.....I understand what you are saying. Yep dental work used to be so much cheaper back in the day. Sorry if you need work done on your "teef" ![]() It is very sad indeed! |

I don't have dental insurance....& I go to the University dental school......I have to have all my teeth pulled & get dentures....scheduling for this after the 1st of the year.....it's a lot less than it would be outside the dental school....but it's still expensive....I am paying just over $70/month on the payment plan....but had to put 15% down...& will have to put another 15% down on the second phase when I get the implants done & that will end up doubling the monthly payment.
I had problems with no enamel on my teeth from when my teeth came in...problem with antibiotics at the time the teeth were forming...& inherited bad teeth from my dad. Know what you mean about costs though.....it's insane.
