I am not an alcoholic by any means, I just really enjoy alcohol ( I rarely drink alone and try to limit myself to 3 drinks tops everytime) My favorite beverage is the margarita. Tonight I was really craving one so I went to the liqor store and bought a 4-pack of Mike-aritas. I had 2 bottles (16oz in total) and I am REALLY feeling it!!! I'm just confused why this is happening!!!

What is the alcohol content in each bottle? Sometimes those beverages have more alcohol then expected, and can get you drunker faster. Also, alcohol rarely affects you the same time, every time. There are so many factors.....had you eaten recently? Were you dehydrated? Had you been physically active? Extra adrenaline will make the alcohol travel through your system faster, were you excited about anything at the time? Have you lost weight recently? Even our female cycles can affect it. Who knows exactly why it affected you more than usual. Maybe you found a beverage that doesn't take much lol. I bet the alcohol content on them was a little higher then you're used to. A lot of those premixed drinks tend to have more. I always seemed to want margaritas when I was craving salt.

Spaz, maybe the alcohol content was greater that in a mixed drink at a bar?

BTW, I want to congratulate you for graduating. You'll go far!

Hugs,

Jan
