I went on a crisis line and told the guy I had some up with the perfect plan for my exit. My love of my precious furry children has aways stopped me before because I couldn't imagine leaving them in anyone else's care.
But I had the answer! (Keep in ind I hadn't slept or eaten or taken any meds for 36 hours) I would just turn on the oven and blow up the house! I don't like the people next door anyway. I've lived here for nine years but it wasn't until I walked into the kitchen I realized I have an electric oven. Dam!

So today I got up early and walked to the bus stop and I was so happy. The pawn shop my ex roommate had pawned my DVD's at told me if I come in when they open I could look through them and buy back the ones I wanted. Yeah! He even said that considering the circumstances he would give me a deal.

So I'm waiting for the bus. Half an hour, an hour went by and no buses anywhere in sight. After two hours I finally gave up and came home. I called someone to talk about a bill and she said none of the financial people were in because it was Sunday.

And living in the Rockies in Podunk, no buses run on Sunday. I didn't believe it until I looked at the computer. I think I live inside my own timeline cause I sure don't get the same one everyone else does.

So, what have you done lately that was incredibly dumb?

Oh I have made a lot of silly mistakes lately. I mean I have made them. I could list some if its mandatory but trust me, they were stupid. Yours just sound like circumstance. The exit plan was kinda funny in a dark way tho
Hope you're feeling better.

I have done pretty dumb things lately too. So i was at math help at my uni and the math help building is completely separate from the rest of the buildings. So anyways i was there and i was gonna leave cuz i had to go to class; so when i was walking out of the building i passed the ‘math café’ and i stopped to look at the prices. And when i looked at the prices they looked like exponents and I was so confused out of my mind (lol i was thinking “3^25 for a latte? isn’t that really expensive? ”). LOL and then i snapped back into reality and I’m like “OH they’re cents, not exponents”. hahaha i was too caught up in math i forgot about life

I hope you feel better though

Edit: I forgot to mention that when I left math help I went to the wrong lecture hall and sat there for 10 mins until i realized.... (2 dumb things right after each other lol)

I constantly do silly and clumsy things. I am so preoccupied with my thoughts I forget simple things. Having OCD this sometimes upsets me and makes me spend more time checking things. I constantly have to make sure I locked the door, turned the stove off etc.

Was in a lift the other day at a museum. Buttons were G,1,2 and 3. As i was standing by the buttons i said to a couple coming in 'What floor do you want?' Then i said ' i don't know how many floors there are'. DOH!!!

Okay-so I caught the bus morning and I'm all excited and I get to the place and of course there is a sign that said 'closed until further notice'.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! So the bus driver told me how to get back home because the route back was on a different street. And of course I got lost.

It always amazes me that people can just stand in any direction and know if it's north or south or whatever. Confounds me. So whenever people give me directions, saying things like it's east and then you go south for one block...I just smile and nod because I have no freaking idea what they're talking about. That information is simply not in my head. I ended up walking two miles home. I'm going to buy a compass. Not that I think it will do any good.

Haha, i like the compass idea. Yeah my spatial awareness ain't great either. More than once i've gone to the toilet in a place i don't know say a cafe, restaurant, pub whatever and got lost on the way back. Left friends at a table in a cafe recently announcing i was leaving, got lost ( i know) and nearly ended up back at the table. Another in a social club. Went to the toilet and lost my bearings and nearly ended up behind the bar haha. DOH!!!!

Phoned a friend new years eve and asked her what she was doing to celebrate the new year. Oh she said me and a few female friends are just going to have a few drinks and watch tv. We'll just watch the London fireworks on tv. I don't know what time the fireworks are though......NO SUE. NEW YEARS EVE?? hmmm I WONDER WHAT TIME THE FIREWORKS COULD BE haha.
Same friend. She bought a tin of paint. Me...." Sue , a little tip. To stop a skin forming on the paint turn the tin upside down." Sue..... " is that with the lid on?"

Funny the tricks the mind plays isn't it. That would have been one expensive latte haha.

It took me a year to figure out that the blurriness in the corner of my eye was just my eyelashes. I covered my eyebrows to see if it was my eyebrows and it wasn't so I thought it must be my eyes, but i forgot about the eyelashes. a year later I finally remembered there are hairs in two places. EyeLASHES and eyeBROWS and that i need to cover both of them to see if it's just hairs getting in my vision.

I try not to think of the stupid things I've done. I like to forget them as soon as possible
Haven't done anything really dramatic recently though. But it's the middle of summer, humid and about 30 degrees Celsius or more each day. And yet I still have hot showers. It's pretty stupid, but I'm going to keep doing it.

My life, does that count? Umm, getting angry, I think is the stupidest thing I do. It serves no purpose and just basically is saying "I didn't get things the way I wanted."
