So, I know it isn't always like this...

But today I joined the Welfare Queue and I was uplifted by what I saw...

A woman with visible Down's Syndrome. With a file of supporting documents in support of her case. No support worker in tow.

A woman with an amazing outfit... Top hat... Gregarious... Uplifting everyone she contacted. People with a smile...

(Bi-Polar or similar)

Guy who wasn't so bright... In some sense of 'traditional ways'... Took (genuine) offense to how low the ceilings were...

And: Me. Huh. Feeling... Quite proud to be joining the welfare queue.

There is a mime guy in the city. He is amazing... Stands still for such long periods of time... I wonder how he supports his-self. I can just see it now: 'And what do you do all day': 'Nothing'. And, uh, 'what would you like to do?'

Ahahahahahahha

This country is pretty great. I think, sometimes.
