I was listening to some Enya videos on YouTube tonight while I was writing replies to some unanswered threads. One of the songs, "Exile", was a song that was featured in a 1991 movie that starred Steve Martin & Victoria Tennant. The move title was: "L.A. Story". I never much cared for Steve Martin as an actor. But this movie is one that endeared him to me... (to the extent this was possible.)
Anyway, at the end of the movie, as well as at the end of the YouTube video, Martin's character says: "Forget for this moment the smog, & the cars, & the restaurants, the skating... Remember only this... A kiss may not be the truth... But it is what we wish were true..." ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Anonymous100305; Feb 13, 2015 at 03:33 AM. |

I wonder what other movies have had Enya songs in the soundtrack. Lord of the Rings, of course. I don't think I've seen L.A. Story. Maybe a kiss isn't just a kiss after all.
