I read Mother Jones magazine. I guess I had some idea of what she was from some old history book but I didn't know much. She had some contradictions it seems. A very liberal side and a very conservative side.

I hadn't read Mother Jones in years. Then I saw a copy at the library this week. I wasn't sure it was being published anymore.
I knew Mother Jones was a real person, but don't know a lot about her. |

"Pray for the dead and fight like hell for the living" I like her style!
I too haven't read Mother Jones for years. Thanks for the reminder. I didn't know much about her either. Kinda funny I'm watching Murdochs Mystery on DVD from the library, it takes place in the late 1880's in Toronto Canada. If feels like I know her a bit better having learned a bit about Toronto from the series. I hadn't known it was such a large modern city until I saw the show.
