i have a lot of habits.

i play a tune on my mental piano while listening to music.

i pull on my bangs when i'm thinking something through.

i go through town the same way when i shop.

i wear a sleep mask. (from night shifts, i guess....although i haven't worked at night in two years)

i walk around the blocks counterclockwise at night when i exercise.

and i always sign PC posts with Xs and 0s...... when i was a kid, and in love with Eddie, they meant hugs and kisses. i don't have the slightest clue why i started typing them in posts, except my inner child might have been thinking about Eddie, and i don't know a lot of you well enough to be hugging and kissing around on you. Xs & 0s Xs & 0s Xs & 0s

so, if i've ever made you think that i was making a move on you, (excepting for downs) i wasn't. and i apologize. and if you did need hugs and kisses, that's what i was sending.

just thought i oughta clear that up.....after being here so long....cause i do not think that my fingers can quit now. xoxoxo pat

Pat,

I would venture to say that it is probably fine. The only other thing I can think of is to say (if wanted) afterwards or something, but I think that most of us probably understand it is meant as a compassionate act rather than one of ... well I dont know what Id call hitting on someone on PC Xs & 0s Xs & 0s Xs & 0s Xs & 0s Xs & 0s

I had an Aunt when I was a young un that shared a birthday with me. Always got a card in the mail with a few bucks in it and the Xs and Os. Sweet soft spoken lady.
Always would call her on the phone to thank her...and she would say the nicest things. I liked her.We clicked.
Anyways...when I see them Xs and Os now...I can't help but get this warm feeling of contentment and happiness...it's ingrained in my memory now....
Just thought you might like that...
Happy Mothers Day Dear Lady...

They are like my "hugs". They mean warmth and friendship and that is a very good thing.

Hugs,

I always send X's and O's to my granddaughter. I explained what they meant in case she didn't know, she's almost 13 (yikes), She sends them right back to me. love it! I think it's great you use them.
By the way, it was her Mother I sent the wise wisdom from Ms. Alice about girls and woman. She sent back -- "That's perfect. Thanks I needed that right now" She is 34, never married, but has two beautiful childern. She was going to get married this coming June, but decided not to. She has her own house, a good paying job, and doesn't really need anything from the fathers. She is a wise, strong, independent woman, but I know she struggles a bit with if she made the right decision. Sorry, I went off track here, but wanted to thank you and Wise Woman Alice, while I still remembered. XXXXXXXX OOOOOOOOO
I admire all you do, Pat. Xs & 0s
