I wanted to paint an A's themed painting for my boyfriend, as he's a huge A's fan and I wanted to make him something special, and I'm not happy with it.
Now, the photo doesn't accurately portray the colors in the painting. I'm quite happy with the colors. I used the A's team colors, green for the main backdrop of the painting and the yellow for the A, and then I used different shades of green and yellow to highlight the painting to give it some depth. I can't pinpoint what it is, but I'm just not happy with how it turned out, which is such a huge bummer for me because I had so much fun painting it, but now I'm doubtful that it's not good enough. I'm worried he won't like it. I really want to make this perfect for my boyfriend, so any tips on how to make it better would be really appreciated. ![]() |

I love the painting. If you make it any more perfect you will wreck it. I have overdone paintings before. You can't do UNDO with paintings. When you are not happy with it that is probably as good as it will get. And I think it is wonderful. You don't want it to look like a photo.
Remember it is the thought that counts! ![]()
