I just started to Crochet again. I used to do it all the time when I was living in a homeless shelter. And I just kinda stopped doing it. But I decided to pick it up again after 3 years of not doing it and I'm having to relearn how to do it. I used to be really good at it, I crocheted a flower in the past the first time I started doing it. '

Anyone else here know how to Crochet and still do it?

Hi, Angelwings!
Yes, I crochet every day. I even do sculptural pieces, and I only ever use the single crochet stitch. Mostly I make hats and shawls. Very relaxing.
Let us know what you're making!

P.S. I taught myself too!

My Mom has just completed a beautiful blanket for me, all in blues. I haven't seen it yet (except for a picture) but I can't wait to get it.

My Mom tried to teach me to crochet and I managed to crochet (very basically) one large square before deciding I was bored and never picked it up again. Now I haven't a clue how to crochet, I would have to be taught from scratch.

My Mom used that square and incorporated it into a blanket she did for my best friend who now lives in the UK. So it's special to us.

I crochet but haven't done much lately. I love doing baby blankets and hats.
