It's all done now. Only took 40 minutes. I had one or two tense moments where I felt I couldn't swallow and then in the middle of some drilling or something I needed to cough! And whatever my dentist was doing, it stank !!

My husband sat with me again and held or rubbed my foot the entire time. His presence was really calming for me. I am so blessed he is such a kind, good and supportive man. He really didn't belittle me for being scared and nervous.

I have been given some special mouthwash for my sore and tender gums. I have also been given the all clear for the rest of my teeth. Just need a cleaning and I have booked that for next week.

Hubby has done work for my dentist's husband and instead of invoicing us for the work she did, she is going to offset it against what her husband owes. So all we are paying for is the X Rays. That is a huge relief.

I'm so glad it is all over and done with now. I will never let years and years pass without seeing the dentist again.

Wonder woman.

Isn't it such a relief to get that hurdle over and done with? It costs as much as when you don't have regular check ups on the car. Little jobs always beat the big ones.

Enjoy your teeth now and smile.

Absolutely Possum.

Many hours later, I can finally feel my lips and face I'm not feeling any pain, just a little tenderness. All's good.

That is great to hear. And only 40 minutes? It takes me that long just to get checked in! I go to a dental school and omg every appointment is 3 hours whether it needs to be or not.
