I live near London in the UK so I would recommend BBC radio London. It has lots of good shows. One good one is 'the Robert elms show' 12PM to 3. Great music, interesting guests, lots of interesting stuff about London, live music, phone ins, local events. I love it.

What I'd really like is a really good beach radio station. Then, mid February, I can dress the spare room up like a beach bar and, despite the cold, grey, damp miserable British weather outside I can close my eyes and imagine I'm somewhere hot and sunny.

Um ... well our rock station stinks to high heaven and most of the airwaves are filled with country music (which is the same as hip hop, but with cowboy boots). Soooo ... the top 40 station? I dunno, that's why I listen to Pandora.
