I really love Disney princesses. They're one of the my favorite things. I also love history. I recently found a video on YouTube that has those two things.

I've watched it about 10 times now I really think that anyone who like history and/or Disney princesses should check this video out. I'll include the link.

I hate to say it but my mom didn't allow me to watch Disney because the princesses and storylines were so politically and historically incorrect. For instance take Pocahontas. It was no romance. She was a child raped and kidnapped. Not a nice story at all.

I can understand that but I still like the Disney Princesses. They're my obsession.

I am completely obsessed with Tangled. Rapunzel is my absolute favorite Disney Princess.

Haha I've seen that one. I like the one of the evolution of women's makeup too.

Thanks for the link. I found it very interesting and enjoyable. I grew up admiring the princesses, too.

That was pretty cool! I actually love the idea of real-life Disney princesses better than the cartoons.

It has been my observation that the Disney Princesses reflect the trends of the era in which the films were made, with their origins acting as inspiration.
Thanks for this!

i love Disney princess although some of them are made from old tales. i prefer old tales more since im into old fashioned things, but Disney still made amazing recreate for them and made other new amazing princess stories

my favorite beauty and the beast i know almost all tales, movie, tv series ever made for it including original which was really during 1700 published in 1756 as written when i searched for it, by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont
