I think it would be cool to have a monkey or a wolf.

I would have a large breed hound (ridgeback, great dane, irish wolfhound, etc really big). In my experience they make the best house dogs - ideal for an apartment or condo. Unlike small dogs that may run around and jump up to be seen, the big hounds prefer to lay about and stay out of the way. Unlike the smaller dogs full of energy the big hounds are lazy and don't need a walk every day.

Don't have a wild animal for your ego. Its selfish and cruel.

I would like to have a Black & Tan Coonhound. Like the poster above, I have always wanted a large breed hound. I think he would fit right in with my pack of Beagles!

If fantasy animals count, I want a cat that can shapeshift into a human female similar to that master lady from the Bleach Anime. To have a cat that can sooth me, understand me, and become a human female without clothes at will would be awesome.

If not, I'll take a giant python or cobra that is trained not to attack me. Nobody would dare mess with me ever again if I had a massive snake guarding me

A dragon. Definitely a dragon. Would settle for a pterodactyl.

If you could have any pet animal, what and why?

Because flying is cool.

I'd like to have a bat. Or a donkey. Or a magpie. Or a lemur.

So many cool animals.

I would like to have a dog, any dog but a Chihuaha. Dogs give lots of unconditional love. Humans are not capable of this.

I used to think this, but my dogs are half chihuaha and they are sweet.

I would like a Collie or Collie/GermanShepherd mix. I am on a rescue site on Facebook but none available in my area yet.

I would get another Western Australian Blue-Tongued Skink. He was so sweet and cuddly (okay, so he would climb inside my shirt to get warm, I know that, but I prefer 'cuddly' ). He rode around on my shoulder, basked in the sun in the backyard with me, LOVED to hid in my hoodie and poke his head out at just the right time to scare the crap out whoever I was talking to (I sometimes took him with me on errands), and when he was feeling especially naughty, would stick his blue tongue out. (on one or two occasions, I thought I was going to have to call 911)

The best part about having him as my friend was all the times we would gaze into each others eyes and it was like staring back in time through a million years of evolution, into the peace of a perfect soul, and the essence of our universe. *chills*

I miss you, Emmett. I know you miss me, too.

I would want a pig, lizard or a hamster.

Too bad my parents hate two of those and won't let me have the other. I guess I can deal with a Coonhound.
