I buy instant coffee for 2 reasons, not because I like it per se. First it is convenient and the job I am currently at doesn't have brewed coffee available. Second is because it is cheaper. Buying even simple coffee daily at a convience store adds up.

So when I saw Starbucks has an instant coffee, I was excited. Then I saw it was only 8 packs. Now I debated it as it was on sale but the price was vexing. $7.99 on sale $5.99
Instant coffee
I ended up buying Nescafe Tasters Choice 100% Columbian. $3.19 for 20 packs. Instant coffee
Has anyone had the Starbucks instant? Was it any good? Was it worth the money?
Thanks for this!

I almost always drink instant coffee, as it's easy - my friends tease me that I'm a coffee slob. I'll buy the starbucks when it's on sale, but I don't think it's worth the price.

I'm not fond of instant coffee, but drink it once in awhile. The morning I got up and discovered the coffee maker had died I was VERY happy I had instant in the house.

I've never had Starbuck's instant, but I feel like everything at Starbuck's is overpriced.

Could you have a small coffee maker where you work? I have a little 4 cup maker in my office that I use.

I'm pretty sure the starbucks coffee isn't the usual 'instant' persay. It s coffee ground extremely finely and actually brews in your cup of hot water. It is not rehydrated pre brewed coffee like products like Nescafe.

its micro ground coffee so its easier/quicker to make and it tastes amazing, i particulary like the starbucks columbian instant-its got a smokey taste to it.
i recommend trying it.

I so want a single-brew coffeemaker. They're expensive, though.

Around here, in the morning I go for the old school Java brew. I normally buy Taylors, or Bewleys.

I used to have a moka pot, but now I find it easier to boil water in a kettle and pour over the powder in a caffetiere. Give it five minutes and it's good to go.

In the afternoon I drink Kenco Milicano for instant coffee. Two sugars, 3/4 of a mug of milk, boil it in the microwave, then add a full teaspoon of the stuff. Nice...

Instant coffee

I can't drink proper coffee all day, it burns a hole in my stomach

I haven't had any Bewley's in years and I love it. I have friends going to Ireland next month. I'm going to ask them to bring some back for me.

Well, I AM a fan of Starbucks. The via packets are handy for popping into a pocket or purse. I admit I'm biased though - I'm a certified coffee sommelier

I can't drink coffee. I can't ever even drink caffeinated drinks anymore. Makes my IBS rage out of control.

However, I do risk it for low caffeine filled tea. I just love a good tea.

Starbucks makes good tea...

some excellent suggestions.
I have already now tried Bustello. I cannot believe it was only a dollar for six packets! I did break down and get the instant Starbucks and it is very good. I won't get it unless I have the money though
