The short days are very hard on me. I don't like it at all.

Hell yes. I'm depressed as soon as I get up, to the point that I splurged and got a Day Light a few days ago. I borrowed one last year and it helped. Hoping it will help me now as well.

I'm a night owl so I like that part. I just don't like the cold and snow that comes with it!

I am so tired, so weary, of the blazing California sun. I don't know anyone around here who isn't. It feels like we're being microwaved all the time. Hot, hot summer and this autumn has barely cooled down yet. So I'm all in favor of the time change, cooler weather, and more nighttime.

We had snow last weekend, and getting up in the dark really makes me feel terrible. It is just kicking in, that I have another 6 months of crappy weather to go through.

But you're going to have a new rock star prime minister and it's hockey season. All is not gloomy.

This lizard is a creature of the sun. I tell people I'm solar powered. I hate the shorter days, especially after the time change. I end up getting up while it's still dark and getting home from work in the dark. Some times when I'm at work I go outside and sit in the sun just to have some exposure.

My depression worsens in the winter. I bought a natural light lamp last winter and used it. It seemed to help.
