That saying just popped into my head while for the umteenth time today with sweat running down my face I carried another big black trash to the trash heap. I also realize that when I heard this particular saying before it was NOT in reference to (well I was going to say "physical labor" but that could be misconstrued)

I'm a frog. What can you expect from a frog. Do I need to point out that frogs are not known for their intelligence. I have a brain the size of a pea, if I'm lucky. But now I'm getting of topic, which is meant to be...

Stupid, silly sayings we have heard or seen that for an instant bring a smile to our face and take our minds off all our problems. They could be bumper stickers, T-shirts, plaques, newpaper clippings...I really don't care. It may only tickle your funny bone....that doesn't matter either. Because I have to do this or sit here and cry.

I'll start...

"When you are up to your ***** in alligators, it's awfully hard to remember that your initial objective was to drain the swamp."

"Need money. Will sell my sewing machine and my husband. Sewing machine $50....husband free."

"You can agree with me or be wrong."

"To err is human. to blame it on someone else shows management potential."

"Put on your big girls panties and deal with it."

"Is wine one of the food groups?"

Please feel free to jump in at any time.

Rode Hard - Put Away Wet

You know, horses can get away with that once in a while, if it's warm out...
