Reading another post, it emphasized how we don't share enough of our good mental health experiences.

Perhaps we can share a positive for a negative.

ie. I am incredibly anxious and agitated by crowds BUT I was able to go to the huge art sale.

ie. I am anxious about being in public BUT I was able to shop at the crack of dawn when I had the store to myself

Hm-m-m-m... well, okay... once in a while I write a reply, to a Thread, & my reply seems to irritate the member who wrote the Thread. (I know because they reply to my reply & tell me so!) Being extremely sensitive... or, perhaps, "touchy" would be the better way to phrase it, my inclination is always to run for the hills, so to speak. But I don't do that. I just keep right on reading & replying to more Threads.

When I am sick I crave food and eat out of boredome. I've been gaining weight more and more BUT the last month I have been able to curb my eating. It's been a struggle but I am winning the struggle and have even lost some of the weight.

This past week I fell into a severe depressive/anxious episode. I felt absolutely sure I was dying BUT I beat on doors and called numbers until I found support groups to attend and got an appointment with a new pdoc.

I was super anxious over one of my son's struggling deeply with his MI but I avoided a full blown panic attack and a few hours later I got a text from his brother saying that they were both struggling but hanging in.
