These past two weeks I've felt like gouging my eyes out, but that scene from Kill Bill with the big fight between Beatrice and Ellie...no. Probably not a good idea.

Um...advice is appreciated...or..submit your own statuses that you can't post on facebook...or both.

Things that I cannot say on fb?

Um, let's see. It's a couple of pieces of chicken and the last time I checked, it's not your place to dictate to me whether I can take my meal benefit from that container or not!
And you! Next time you think you've coached her to speak up to me, check My Peripheral Vision. Remember they joke around here that I'm a city girl and I've learned street smarts, such as how to watch my own back and how to look over my shoulder without looking all paranoid...sayin'

Those are things that I cannot involve fb people with

Stay cool and keep posting.
Here's one I thought this morning:
It was prompted because we are somewhat observant Jews and my son is in a relationship with a devoutly Catholic girl.
"Each time a Jew loses their faith a Nazi earns his wings." Not a good facebook post, lol. If I offended anyone, I apologize for even posting it here.

I have a Facebook but rarely use it. Guess I don't want my family to see when I feel utterly hopeless some days. I just don't want to worry them.

There are very few things I will not say on Facebook. BUT, Mom is a topic I rarely address.

I grow tired of all the "positive" affirmations----------sometimes they seem so forced-----------(especially when I have just spoken with a particular friend and know they are in the dumps but posting 'happy' 'we all can do it' 'never give up'......)-------------I feel like **** today. Thank you all for being here.

Guess I can't say "****" here either----ah USA, cursed with the puritans but full of rage...it is ok to rape and kill, but no bodily functions or consensual sex or nudity.....

To my high school boyfriend:

Is your marriage really as perfect as it appears to be? Do you ever go home, or do you and your wife ecstatically bounce from music festival to theater to fancy dinner to a pool party to participating in a cycling marathon in a never-ending whirl of adoration and gaiety? Do you EVER have a bad day, or even a difficult afternoon?

Well, I can't say I don't like babies, coz lots of my schoolmates always post theirs babies photo. So I rether choose some social networking sites which there's no one knows who I am.

To close family members, I would like a more personal announcement of your impending nuptials, births, and horrid health crises. Thank you step son for my finding out I would be a granma with every other of the tools in your friends list. It was so nice my cousin to learn of your colon cancer and see your selfies at the hospital. Other cousin it was kind of you to play out the demise of your marriage....

Sidestepper I do not have a facebook page either and I don't think I want one. My husband has one but it is so easy to cause drama in his family it's not worth it.

If I wish to post something, I will, regardless of how it may be received. Facebook is mostly just an outlet to share my humor.

In the last 3mos my Facebok feed has gotten really bad. Endless invites to like and share Jesus. Endless streams of racist, Islamaphobic posts (the worst from the official government opposition) from right wing fanatics. And alarmingly personal and inappropriate posts by my daughter.

But there are amongst these posts from old chums and friends which allow me to stay current and still attached.

Still it is harder to see these amongst the uncomfortable crap.

I am seriously considering just ending it all together.
