So, lately, I've been studying things like the Fermi paradox, and the probability of parallel universes and worlds, and quantum physics and biology....and I have so much to discuss with people, but no one to talk to about it (apart from my boyfriend).
Does anyone know of any communities online where I can discuss with people the universe? I really want to further my knowledge on these topics, and discuss theories. Or should I start my own? But who would join?

I've joined several atheist forums and seen some discussions on similar topics. There are usually some very arrogant people who are waiting to make others feel like dirt if they are not quite as smart or educated on the topics. You need to have a thick skin

It seems there are discussion groups for everything online. Have you tried a web search to find any?
Not sure what kind of response you'd get, but you could try starting a social group here at PC. |

I don't think you have to be an athiest or that shouldn't be the driving factor of anything science related. I'm agnostic and believe there is some kind of higher power. Lately, though, I'm finding that anything goes--so, in a sense, I do believe, but I don't like being labeled or following rules, sooooo....haha! ![]()
