Hello there! How’re you all doing today? Good, I hope.

Do you have a mission in life? Some sort of purpose to fulfill? It can be anything. Whether you strive to make others happy or you want to create fictional worlds and entertain others. From the largest thing possible to the smallest thing possible.

My personal mission in life is to make others happy. That is my purpose and that’s what motivates and inspires me. When I think about my mission, my “job,” I suppose; I am just filled with warmth and joy. Because seeing other people smile just makes me smile. I love knowing that I’ve made a difference. In fact, I plan on being a Clinical Psychologist when I grow older so I may help others be happy in a more serious way.

What kind of mission do you have? Have you not discovered it yet?

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!

I also try to make others happy, but I concentrate my mission on a few:
- my mother
- my brother
- my cat

Beyond that inner circle I have more limited goals. I try to help those people in whatever small ways I can.

Going even further out, I try to minimize the harm I do to strangers and the environment.

EDIT: My psychological problems interfere with this mission and they also make my own life less pleasant. That is why I am going to a therapist.
Thanks for this!

I'll just jump aboard here and agree that my mission is to make people happy too - even when it comes at my own personal cost.

My mission is a survive. It's sounds a little self serving but otherwise I would devastate my family and I don't want to cause them any pain.

Thanks So MUCH for this post! So many people think that one person cannot make a difference in the world or that they are too small to matter in the grand scheme of things...Ronald Reagan (my personal hero btw) said that anybody who thinks that they are too small or insignificant to make a difference in this world had never tried to go to sleep with a starving mosquito in their bedroom...truest words ever spoken...

Okay, I've been rewriting my response to your post for like half an hour because it keeps coming out sounding too inflammatory or rude... So I just won't go there. Suffice it to say that the OP seriously bothers me. I'll just respond to the question instead.

I am proud to be a hedonist. My "mission" is to maximize my pleasure and minimize my pain in this life. To enjoy what I can, while I can, before it all fades to dust.
