So communicating with Mrs Webgoji in the morning is different than communicating with her at night. At night, she speaks English. But in the morning when I have to wake her up for work ... well ... let me translate.

Hmmm ... Hmmm : This isn't actual communication. It's a self-defense mechanism she uses to make me think she's awake so I'll leave her alone.

Hmmmpheeee! : I'm waking up, but will probably roll over and go back to sleep. Often followed by Hmmmm ... Hmmmm

Hmmmpheeee Mmbbbmbmb : Okay, my eyes are open. I'm up ... but will probably roll over and go back to sleep. Often followed by Hmmmm ... Hmmmm

Hmmmpheee Gaaah : Alright, I'm up. This usually is accompanied with sitting up. Be aware if it is followed by a quick Mbbbmbmb.

Mubgaaah : I'm going to fall asleep on your shoulder if you don't move.

Mikkmwick : Man I've got bad morning breath. I can even taste it.

Ugnngnnn : I'm doing my makeup. See you tonight. Usually followed by and Mubgaaah.

So what forms of communication do you use in the mornings?

I sound a lot like your wife in the morning.

I have a t-shirt that says

Coffee - a magical substance that turns "Leave me alone of die" into "Good morning homey."

My mother, bless her heart, was a morning person. I am definitely NOT a morning person. She would annoy the snot out of me wanting to have conversations in the morning. She'd be all chatty and perky. I'd be climbing the evolutionary scale as I drank my coffee.

I'm the morning person in our family but my husband mumbles for sometime after he gets up. Usually complaining about the cold or the dogs wanting his attention. He wakes up grumbling. Morning Communication

Communication? There are no such things as words until the coffee is drank.
