Dan Haggerty died yesterday at the age of 74. He was the star of the popular TV show "Grizzly Adams" in the 1970s. It was only on TV for two years but it was one of my favorites when I was growing up. He led a tough life after that, never getting any other roles in Hollywood.

I'll always remember how cool it would have been to live in the woods with a huge bear as my best friend. Thanks, Dan.

Man, RIP Dan Hagerty. Oh my god, Lemmy Kilmister, then David Bowie, my step dad, René Angelil (very famous guy from where I live, husband of Celine Dion), Dan Hagerty, all of them, gone, in 3 weeks. This is hard. O.O
Thanks for this!

I agree, it's difficult to witness. I enjoyed that show too. RIP

rip, he helped take care of several wild animals due to his family owning an animal attraction site. he went on to play characters where he worked with wild animals, including bears and tigers

I am another "Grizzly" fan. It did sound like a fun life. I'm sorry to hear that he passed.
