I have noticed that since I began working on my typing skills that on the several places I have found to practice typing that a consistent problem is that I am not actually a bad speller or anything, but I tend to type the wrong word, or mix up letters, I actually make very few typos if you account for that. I've noticed when I put the wrong word, I am either inventing a word I think it should be instead of what it actually is (I do that in music too, sometimes on purpose but usually not) Or it I put in a word that is somewhere on the page that I am not actually looking at that moment. So I ask, is this dyslexia or something else?

I learned that dyslexia is not just one thing with an exact formula like mixing up letters in a word. There are many forms of incomprehension that come under the diagnoses of dyslexia. For example some people cannot understand each individual word on the page but after they have read the entire page of words then it makes sense. Those are just two examples of the many forms of this.

To get correct answer for your question and possibly some help if required you may need to seek a professional out. I am sure that you local doctor would be able to help or at the very least be able to point you in the right direction.
Thanks for this!
