This is probably mostly for the old timers here....beads was a very sweet member here who had many very difficult things she was dealing with in her life. I was also friends with her on Facebook & the last I had heard she was dealing with brain cancer.

Her birthday was Feb 2 & went to her home page to give her birthday wisher & found out that she died from the cancer the end of October last year.

I know that many of us who have been here a long time had many wonderful postings with her here....I didn't want her passing to go without mention here because she was a very special person to those of us who got a chance to know her. She will be missed.

thanks so much for sharing that, Eskie~

the last i remember, Beadie was moving to a new apartment, and she was so happy... i thought maybe something had happened in the move, as she never posted in PC again. it helps to have some closure on the story of a person's life. she will be fondly remembered.

That's very sad news. She had a unique way of communicating and I remember her very fondly. The jewelry she made , which she used to sell at native American pow wows, was amazing and i would have loved to have gone to one with her. RIP beads.

Yes, Beady had a unique way of communicating.....she was autistic & had also suffered a traumatic Brain Injury before coming to PC. Given all the struggles in her life, her unique way was quite amazing. I often wondered if I had been in the same situation if I could have done as well as Beady did.

Oh yes, her jewelry was beyond anything I could ever have created. What an amazing & outstanding talent she had not only for design for for the artistry of making the gorgeous beaded jewelry. I have missed her here over the last few years & was glad that we connected on Facebook. I was very sad to know all the struggles that she was going through over the last few years.......she is at peace with God now.
