I took it upon myself to give up writing in my old journal (the thing was a 9in x 7in 400 page behemoth) and write in something new. Yeah, I know it's a bit late, but better late than never.

This is my new journal (You can make it larger by clicking on it, and even larger by clicking on it again):

New Year, new journal.

It's also much smaller, and about 8in x 5in and 256 pages, so much more portable. Plus, I already had a pen that matched it, which is a bonus.

Do you journal? What kind of journal do you have?

that's pretty cool. I was given a Lego journal for Christmas. Yes Lego. The top of the journal is one of those green flat pieces and the clasp is a Lego block. There is a small picture of a Lego person on each page. I love this journal.
Thanks for this!

Rcat, your journal sounds awesome. I have fond memories of my youth building Lego sets. I wonder if they make a Lego pen to match the journal? If so, that would be awesome!!

Blue Bird, owls are awesome. The way they fly without making a single sound is amazing. They are like a silent death from above for any unsuspecting prey. I also think it's highly appropriate for a journal as they are traditionally portrayed as being wise, and journals hold knowledge of sorts as written by their owner.

I am now looking for a nice little pen case to hold both pens and ink refills so I can travel with my journal to various places.
