Have you ever been so drop dead tired, yet want to stay awake because you have things you want to do? I am at that point right now. I have had 4-5 hours of sleep in the past 48 but there are a few things I want to do, yet am too tired to really be able to do them. Heck, even writing this post is unusually laborious for me.

What about you?

Hello Artchic: Well... personally... I'm pretty-much always tired. Then, once in a while, I drop into these states where I come up with some crazy scheme & can't sleep at all, all the while building some castle in the sky! This doesn't happen to me now as much as it used to. But it still occurs occasionally. At least now I recognize what's happening. I didn't used to. Hope you can get some sleep...

Last week I was staying awake late, even though I have nothing to do, or should I say, I didn't feel I am in the mood to do anything, including my job. But at the same time, I didn't want to sleep, as I felt sleeping doesn't make me feel alive. Ironic, right?

Yes, but I invest in sleep - after sleep I work more efficiently and think straighter.

I do sort of. I was up late last night learning... becoming informed. Information overload
I have so little time left and I want to know about so much.

Hello Artchic, I too am always tired. My meds make me very tired. I take norco, butrans, soma, abilify, lyrica, humiin r insulin, lisonpril and pepcid. Almost all those make u tired. But I manage to get things done, just very slowly. lol I also am working on my counseling website, I got a lot to do with that. I got to get some business cards and also go advertise somewhere but not sure where to advertise. I hope u feel better and get some energy! Have a great afternoon! April

Yes, I know what you mean. The only thing I have ate for about 5 or so months now, are PB&J`s. They still send my pain level in my gut to about 100+ but it seems like the pain goes away just a little quicker. But, to get back to your post about tired. I must have been pretty wasted Monday. I obviously have to eat in bed and I had just got 3 spinal injections that afternoon. I fell asleep with my sandwich in my hand for a few hours and none of the dogs ate it. I figured they would have grabbed it....

I'm all switched up - so tired I can barely wait until 7pm (!!!) to go to bed and up at 5am. I feel sorry for the tenants in the suite below because early morning is when I get everything done - uncluding noisily doing my house work. At least I wait untl later in the day to run the vac about. But the thing is if I don't get it done before 8am the likelihood of doing so at all is pretty slim. Even my groceries and errands I try to do by 8am.

I spend the rest of the day pretty much lethargic.

Yes, that's me right now. I try to get up every morning at 9 am, but I always want to stay up late and then I snooze after 9, so it's hard to always stay productive.

I get it, constantly tired. Very little motivation but every once in a while I get a ton of energy and clean I go to bed around midnight and get up around 11 but usually nap during the day. I'm generally happy but sometimes feel like all I do is sleep. I used to be on the go constantly so this is definitely a change for me.
