I'm just curious.

I sort of knit. At least I can do garter stich. Here, take a look at my first ever finished object, a garter stitch scarf..

Any fiber artists (knitting, crocheting, tatting, needlepoint)?

I took up knitting for a while, but that's kinda fizzled out. My wife is a crazy good crochet ... uh ... crocheter? She can crochet everything from socks to blankets to hats to little monsters and makes 3D paintings using painting and crochet.

I knit like crazy. And I'm always taking classes to learn new techniques.

I like the scarf. I am a newbie who is teaching myself both how to knit and crochet. I have to admit that it's harder than I expected but it's a good distraction and calming when my anxiety begins to get too high. I hope to get much better at it and my goal is to make a scarf by this summer.

Felting is very interesting. I don't know how to do it, but I love seeing the pics of it on Etsy and Pinterest.
Thanks for this!

I have found that if there is anything you want to learn how to do there is a YouTube video that shows it.

I never do anything simple....I start with the hardest possible craft & find it's really not hard once started on it. I've been knitting since before I was 17 though I put it down for many years, I just picked it back up a few years ago. Find it's relaxing like painting & beading & any of the crafts I love to do.

I bought the most beautiful fine silk & mohair yarn in turquoise, green & lavender shades. Looking for the PERFECT pattern to make it into. I bought lots of yarns then ended up too busy to knit for about the last year. Craving to get enough time to get back into doing it as I have lots of projects started & lots of ideas for the yarns I bought......NOW I just need time.

I found many YouTube's that show how to do the felting & was thinking about making a purse & then felting that. It takes using wool yarn & then washing it........thought how cute to make a little felted mouse to keep my real house mouse company....not really, but I do think mice are cute & a felted one would be adorable.

I have this lovely purple and silver yarn with silver sparkles in it that I found at Walmart. I plan on using it in a scarf or shawl or something. Haven't decided yet.

Felting is such fun, and immensely creative. And I meant I had a "busy" etsy shop, not a bust one, lol.
