I got the new Galaxy S7 on Saturday, and I think it's a great phone! I wanted the Edge, but my store was out of stock, so I just went with the regular. I think it's a great phone so far, but I think I'll probably exchange it for an Edge when we get those back in stock.

Anyone else enjoying a new phone?

Hi!
I don't have it but I'm interested in this thread, because maybe I could change mine with a Samsung. Not sure yet.
Why do you prefer Edge? What are the differences? Just the size, or something else?
Can you post pictures here at PC with your phone? (I think I can't find this information anywhere except asking to people here ).

I wanted the Edge mainly because it's got a bigger screen without being a much bigger phone, and it has a bigger (aka longer lasting) battery.

I don't think I can post pictures directly to PC from my phone, but I can upload pictures onto photobucket or something similar and then post them to PC.
Thanks for this!

Thanks for the information! But I mean, you can post photos here using your phone, though not directly? You aren't obliged to use computer?
Hope you are enjoying your phone

Yes, if I wanted I could post photos without using the computer, but using a computer makes it 100% faster and easier!
Thanks for this!

I just got the s7; it's nice. The fingerprint scanner to unlock is slightly temperamental but I really like it overall so far. The battery life is great, but I'm coming from an ancient HTC One so anything would probably be an improvement.

I hated the battery on the S7 which is one of the reasons I ultimately returned it and got the S7 Edge. The difference is phenomenal. I've only had the Edge for a day and I already like it so much better, even though I haven't used the Edge features at all!

I also agree about the fingerprint scanner. Here's a trick: Add multiple fingerprints, but use the same finger for them. You can have up to 4.
