My teeth were kind of dingy, a sort of soft ivory beige before I used any treatments. Then I bought these Crest 1 Hour Express whitening strips and after one treatment they look a little less dingy. Now they look slightly off white/ivory. According to the box, I can use the other treatments in the box within the year, so I plan on doing another treatment tomorrow night around this time, and then another treatment before I go on my date. Hopefully by then, my teeth will be dazzling white. Not blindingly so, but white enough so I look youthful and vibrant.

The only problem I am noticing right now is my teeth feel a bit sensitive. But then again, I have sensitive teeth (probably should cut back on the diet dew).

Anyways, I was wondering if you all had any success with teeth whitening products? What did you use?

My dentist has informed me that these products, as well as tartar control toothpaste products can actually cause more sensitivity in the teeth ... Therefore, I refuse to go there ... However, there are many people that are willing to put up with the pain and sensitivity in order to have the perfect smile, so ... Proceed with caution, perhaps?

Ah. I see. Good to know. My dentist said I was a good candidate for teeth whitening, and that I should use these strips. I guess I'll use with caution though. Thanks!!

I've used both the whitening strips and teeth whitening from my dentist. I have noticed that the more often you use them, the more sensitive your teeth can feel. Using them everyday, depending on which one you have, is probably the reason for some sensitivity. But the results are great! It's time for me to do so myself!
