I've decided to be more expressive and trendy with my fashion. Yesterday I went out to the mall to look for more stylish clothes and spent four hours shopping...and only came back with one outfit I really love. What I discovered is that I look great in crop tops with fringes on them. I am fat (a size XL womens, L men), and not only does that limit what is available (it's damn near impossible to find size XL in stores like Forever 21 and Tilly's) it limits the styles I can wear while having a big belly, muffin top, big legs, etc. So what's great about crop tops with fringes is that it gives the illusion of being thin, hides what I don't want people to see, while being summer-ready and fashion-forward.
I stayed up late last night looking for crop tops online. The one crop top I liked at Forever 21 busted the button. So on etsy, I looked for crop tops that were in my size, and I found someone who makes a huge selection of crop tops for super cheap...only $27 compared to the competition who start at $50. These are the two I am going to buy. The pink one I am actually going to customize to be red, white, and blue for the fourth of July. I am so excited! ![]() ![]() |

I've thought about it. I only made $140 from the paycheck of my old job, and it may be over a month before I get my next paycheck at my new job. I know exactly what I want, but I need to save every penny I can before I go off and spend a bunch of money. Plus, by the time I have my next paycheck, it will still be early before true summer madness kicks in.

The tops are fantastic! Wish I was young enough to wear them.
