Today someone left me a cute little painted twig. No idea who, but I still thought it was weird. I thought "well I wonder how many other people get strange gifts?"
Thanks for this!

That's great! I love stuff like that. The strangest I can think of is my father once gave me one of his gray hairs in an envelope with some quirky little note I now can't remember. He was eccentric like that.

I love stuff like that too. I mentioned in another thread we had a 'beer fairy' who used to leave cases of beer on my front step. Now that was pretty awesome yet weird gifting.

The oddest gift I got? someone left a compass on a string hanging from my workplace locker once. It was a nice one too, I've been using it and still have it.
Thanks for this!

I got an empty box that was sort of like a brief case that had Chinese writing on it with orange silk cloth lining the inside. It would have probably been use full if the inside was not divided into two rows with six boxes in each row. It was the weirdest gift ever. I am just sure what to do with something like that.

Once my little cousin gave me a hotdog he made with playdough. He asked if I liked it and I was like "yeah, thanks". I guess it's the thought that counts. At that age giving me anything was thoughtful.
