Music helps me cope with life, too. It is one of my many healthy outlets.

I like your drawing.

I find the same thing. I'm a guitarist as well, so I find that very therapeutic too.

I love listening to music! It can affect me in so many ways depending upon the song or genre. It can be uplifting, cathartic, soothing, inspiring- it's wonderful.

Music is a great coping mechanism. When it works it works. Always there when i need it...but i also sometimes cant even stand my favorite songs.... too much noise upstairs and external overstimulation even the most pleasant sounds can just become more overwhelming noise. *sigh

This old fart still loves to crank it up to 10! I suspect when I'm old(er) and (more) decrepit living in a nursing home the other residents will be complaining about the volume of my music.

A few weeks ago I was stopped at a red light just jamming to a tune when I noticed the "old guy" (probably younger than me) was staring. I just smiled and waved.
Thanks for this!

I understand...it's hard to keep the hype when feeling emotional at the same time..but it's okay to be noisy because we needed to be loud and cheerful to keep our spirits up ^^

Lol assuming they can hear any longer at that age.....just ask them to take out their hearing aids & it will be ok.

I'm a classical music fan myself. I enjoyed playing more than listening but those days are over....oh well I still enjoy listening to classical, mostly chamber works but symphonies are great also.

Yes. Music certainly makes you feel enlightened.

I heard 'Music Box Dancer' by Frank Mills today. He is a popular Canadian piano player, who has done some records as a singer.
