Hey, guys. I was watching a movie last night containing seven segments, each supposedly based on Mexican folklore and urban legends. After the film ended, I decided to research and learn more about the legends. Google didn't give me a whole lot; I was only able to find information about el cucuy (The boogeyman) and aluxes (goblin-like creatures), which were both mentioned.

If anyone is familiar with Mexican folklore, would you be able to give me some info about the legends if I give descriptions of each part of the film?

Did they talk about the new patron Saint in Mexico City who is...diablo? The devil? Not sanctioned by the church, of course, but very popular with the common folk. I love Mexican folk lore.

I actually don't know. xD The segments were confusing and half the time I couldn't figure out what was even happening. I was hoping that learning about the legends behind them would give me a greater understanding of the segments themselves.
