This evening I was involved in a car accident. I was at work and ran into a car. Not sure if it was dissociation... or not.. or just something else. I'm okay, just shocked, anxious and a bit of whiplash. As for the other two people in both cars, both are fine just whiplash for one and no injuries for the other.
I will be staying up for a bit to relax, and calming down and icing my spine and neck. Thanks for the support and for letting me vent about what happened. I was at fault and got a ticket... oops. |

How mean of the cops - surely the other drivers reversed into you. Bad, careless drivers, who, along with so-called witnesses, had the outstanding gall and temerity to say otherwise, have reversed into me on two occasions happily in heavy very slow traffic. The police were similarly unsympathetic. I now leave a very generous distance at all times between me and the car in front and dither maddenly at junctions until it is clear as far as the eye can see - you just cannot rely on following an honest person.

Puzzlclar, how stressful for you!
Good luck w/the indurance co. ; they can be kinda a pain in the patoot to deal with. Have you had yourself medically checked over, just in case your sore spots might indicate further problems down the line? Possibly your insurance guys will want you to have that done? So sorry this happened. In April 2009 a guy spend up thru an intersection and hit me on passenger side (right hand) door, and bc I was making a left turn, the police did NOT charge him and my insurance rates went crazy! Urrrgh. They only dropped a bit in 2015 bc it had finally been over 5 yrs. sigh chin up and feel better please.
