I've been following sports for a good portion of my life, and I'm sure I'm not alone in fact that sometimes I just won't watch certain sports events because I feel like somehow I will jinx it for some fan base. I know this is completely illogical, but it seems like whenever I watch a big sports event if I pick a team or even if I don't the one that I like more than the other looses. Now I bet if I tested it, that same team would lose even if I didn't. I'm wondering if there's been any research on sports superstitions, and also do you have any like mine or that are different?

I am supersticious. Before going to a national lacrosse game I put one sock on after another in a certain order, use only a certain brand of anti-persperant, and I wear the jersey all day. My team has been champions since I started cheering for them so it must work, haha

I have always been a big Hockey fan.
Hockey is full of superstitions but not sure if I have any.
