I don't know how or when it started, but at night I am still scared something will touch my foot or hand if it hangs over the side of the bed. Only at night tho, never in the day time. I have no pets and I'm old.

I first heard the Mary Worth story when I was in middle school. Scared the holy livin' bejeebers out of me. I'm still unfortable around mirrors in the dark. Didn't help any to read Lisey's Story by Stephen King. Wicked thinks appear in mirrors, especially after dark.

Bunkbeds for me too.

Another one, though I'm over it now, is if I was in the store and the light had a reflection on the floor I thought the reflection was a trap door and I'd fall in.

I had the insane fear of something being under my bed at night all of my life. About 10 years ago it dawned on me that I didn't have to have open space under my bed so I stopped sleeping on an elevated bed. I am glad to say that pretty much cured my fear.

Same here, but as I got older it faded. I've always had a fear that if I'm in a room at night with the light on and I can only see my reflection, someone or something is going to appear in the window. Just tonight I went back downstairs to make a drink and I was convinced someone would appear at my kitchen window. I can't explain the fear it makes me feel!!

Clowns...still creepy.

Ceiling door to attic, especially when house noises are heard up there. :/
