As you all may remember, a neighbor complained about my cats killing chipmunks, and so I've been keeping them inside most of the time, only letting them out after dark. Curiously, they now seem to prefer being inside! This, after two days of "hollering" at the door! Now, even in the evening, they don't even seem to want to go out much, even if I leave the patio door open so they can. So, what Kimmy said...they adapt! Also, it seems the more they are outside, the more predatory they are, while being inside more, they are sweeter and more affectionate.

LOL Your "killer cats." They were just doing what comes naturally! Update on my killer cats... But I'm glad they are adapting well to staying indoors. At least, that gives you some peace of mind about them.

This reminds me of weaning a child off a bottle or binkie....they scream like bloody murder for a couple days then *POOF* all is forgotten and they are merrily on their way to sippy cups Update on my killer cats...

Thanks, September!
I haven't even seen them here inside much today...they're sleeping, but at least not out annoying the neighbors or killing chipmunks!
