I'm proud of getting on PC during a severe depression and reaching out for help, and giving help.

Hard to believe I've been here for almost 12 years this coming October.

I am proud to be a member of this wonderful community.

I appreciated getting the support when I first came here with a trauma I was actually going through at the time, the PTSD afterward & help with the anorexia that had gotten the best of me during all that was happening to me.

Also appreciated PC being with me through out my leaving my H & the 2100 mile drive across the country to my new farm & the fund raiser support that DocJohn provided when I had a horrible $1600 electric bill after an unprofessional person installed a bad heating unit in my farm & he was judgment proof so I couldn't even nail him in court for what he did.

All the appreciation has given me the desire to help those here as I have been helped. I enjoyed the few months I spend as a moderator but given my busy life, I didn't end up having the time to dedicate to it like was really needed. I truly appreciate that time I spent doing it though because it's given me an awesome appreciation for all of you who are putting in all the time that it does take.

Just being here & touching the lives that I can & help those who I can even if it's relating to some of my own past experiences.

Just really proud to be a part of such a wonderful & caring internet community......one of the top ones IMO.....if feels like home.

I'm proud of...

1. Becoming a CL. (I sadly bailed because my head was screwy at the time)

2. Apparently helping some people.

3. Looking after my own wellbeing on PC. (it's important to be mindful of content online that is harmfull to you, such as avoiding triggering content)

Guess that's it. Oh, guess I'm kinda proud of my profile picture... I made it myself, it's even my hand from many years ago.

I'm proud of reaching out, being open about my concerns, listening to replies and being receptive to help.

I'm pleased if I have helped anyone else in some small way (not proud, just pleased).

I'm pleased I made a few friends here too (again proud maybe not right word?).
Thanks for this!

I posted here for years and years and didn't tell a soul that I am an alcoholic. It was a very proud moment to admit it here and tell everyone that I was going sober. Over a year sober now.

Crying isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of having tried too hard to be strong for too long.

I am proud of remaining active on the site and the fact that I often try and bring
humor to it. I always hope it brings a smile to someones day.

I've grown a lot since I joined PC. I've met some great people. It is a part of my day I look forward to. I think I have helped a few people.

I'm proud of the fact that I keep coming back. That I've had the courage to respond to and interact with others, and possibly even offer something positive.
