I got home from a meeting a bit ago and was sooo hungry. I very rarely have food in the apartment cuz darnit those grocery stores want money for it. When I take my Grandma to the grocery store, sometimes we'll split fruit and stuff, or she'll throw cookies in the cart for me, so I'll usually have that kind of thing to at least snack on. So anyway, I get home from the meeting and open the fridge and decide to cut up my peach. Then I remember that there's some strawberries in there too, and some grapes. So I cut everything to bite size for a nice fruit platter.
THEN I remember that Grandma had an extra can of light whipped cream that she gave me, and THEN I remember some chocolate wafter cookies. So I put it all together for this yummy filling fruity delight!!!!! I just had to share cuz I'm happy that I won't be hungry all afternoon and I get to munch on this yummy concoction. So....there's a fun thing to do with odds and ends of fruit!
