Is anybody else here interested in experimenting with this/being an accountability partner? It doesn't have to be everyday that we communicate, but a serious commitment of some sort and we give each other advice.

I've been delving into lucid dreaming via recording my dreams in a designated "Dream Journal". It's just a small blank diary I've had for a while but never really used, so I thought it would be perfect for this purpose.

I've read that writing down your dreams improves dream recall, and awakens the ability to recognize when you're in a dream, and even going as far as inserting an object or the like into your dreams to signal that your indeed dreaming, and can begin to do whatever you'd like.

I've also had lucid dreams where I've found myself dramatically underdressed, as in I wasn't wearing any pants, recognized I was dreaming, and turned the Tshirt I was wearing into a simple slip dress. It was hard, and gave me a huge headache doing it, but it worked. I've also tried bringing people I know or know of in the real world, into a lucid dream, but the one person I tried making appear turned out all fuzzy, jumbled and snowy like an old analogue TV who's reception is terrible. I guess that's for an advanced lucid dreamer.

I've also done things in dreams that I've either read about or been told are impossible to do in dreams, and are a good way to check to see if your dreaming or not. For example, you supposedly can't flip a switch and turn on lights in a room, because your brain is not supposed to be able to connect the light switch with the lights turning on in such a cognitive way. However, I've tried and succeeded in doing this in a lucid dream, just to see if I could.

I've only had a handful of lucid dreams and would like to have more, but it's hard work and though I know there are some supplements you can take to supposedly allow yourself to do so, I don't want to take them. I basically don't trust what appears to be snake oil like substances.

Anyways, I wish you luck in your lucid dreaming adventures!!
