This might seem trivial to some people. Sorry.

I live in an rural area that has no option for Internet but dial up or satellite.

Dial up actually costs more go figure . So satellite it is !

There is a data limit on it !!! I know right ( gasp)

We never had any problems exceeding our 15gb a month,

But a house hold change had us running out of data in 5 days or less !! So dial up sped for 20 + days until it renewed. Conversations happened and nothing resolved, so we dropped down to just 5 gb a month why pay more for something that will be used up in days .

When our data is gone we are reduced to dial up speed or often worse it seems. We seldom ever watch a video clip and never roamed YouTube , we knew to watch our usage.

Months a go I stopped using my lap top all together because it takes less data to use my phone.

Last week I just packed up my literally new laptop and it's now on a shelf in my closet. Sure I can do " most" everything on my phone, but it makes me angry that I can't use my laptop like I have for years !

I have a lot of music on it that I love, but if I bring it out just to listen to my music I will just get livid that it's just an expensive CD player now.

Done whining.

Maybe open your own Starbucks or something so other people can help pay for a HotSpot!
Thanks for this!
