I just did a little reading and I can see why that could take so long. My thoughts are with all of you there, and may she have a speedy recovery.

bred and leej..thank you so much for being there.
I was banned last week from a site I was on for 5 years...(drunk talk, must have pissed someone off)...and I miss the support I had there..and some knew my niece was going in today..few days before Christmas! What were they thinking!

And yes leej..she has to have the 2 step surgery because she has a severe 85% curvature...part 1 finished around 1pm.

My sister gets 90 minute updates on her phone. Years ago when my son had open heart..I had to sit there the whole 8 hours...it was horrid.

My sister updates me...every 90...she could have 3 more hours of surgery left or less..hopefully less...she has been in and under since 945am

Bless her...Hope the surgery goes well and she has a thorough recovery.

I have scoliosis and lordosis. It wasn't bad enough for surgery but it now hurts when I bend or stand for long periods of time.
