For me it's:
#1: tiny dogs (teacup chihuahuas are my absolute favorite) #2: medium sized dogs (pugs* are kind of great) #3: big dogs (labrador retrievers especially) *pugs! (one dozen)

I like chihuahuas myself. Their tiny size and need to be coddled at times fits right along with my need to coddle something small.
