My hand hurts but it's done. This is a picture of Queen Eleanor and her daughter, Merida, from the movie Brave. I loved this movie so after I saw it, I was inspired to draw this picture. I drew this a while back, but recently took a look at it and revised it a bit. I lightened up Merida's face to look less like she was pallid and more like she was a alive, colored over some places I forgot to add color and added a pinkish background. I like it.

Thanks. The movie Brave resonated with me, mostly because I relate to Merida and her relationship with her mother, Queen Eleanor in a way. I always fight with my mom, like Merida, and just want to be free to do what I like, just like Merida does. Plus, I am a red head with blue eyes, just like Merida.
