I have three questions: One for android and one for ipods

First question: How do I listen to music other than Pandora on an android, specifically an HTC one m8? Is there a way I can listen to the music on my itunes on my android?

Second question: How much GB do I need to comfortably fit 2500+ songs? I have a very large music collection and yes I need all 2500+ songs on my ipod. Just a quick peek at best buy it looks like I may need an iPod touch, but I prefer an iPod nano.

Third question: Is the iPod touch a cell phone as well? All I want is to listen to my music on the go and do not need all the bells and whistles of a smartphone and I really don't know how I feel about how large the iPod touch is compared to the iPod nano.

Thanks!

Have you tried to google your first question? I dont know if there is any interface created that interfaces android to apple i's at all but honestly never have had the need to research that. I would think google would be a place to find that out tho.

Know nothig about your other 2 questions...sorry. sure there are other experienced people who will know

re: How much space you need (in terms of GB) - where are the songs now? Can you check and see how much space they take up now? That would be the most accurate way to tell - because they might need more or less space depending on how compressed they are, how long they are, etc.

For example, on my computer (Windows 7 PC) I can right click a folder, select "Properties" and it will show "Size". One of my music folders (I have music in different folders, based on type of music) is 4.82 GB for example. I'm not sure how many songs are in there, as it's further divided into a bunch of folders.

Hope that helps some... I'm not sure about the Android stuff.

I tend to think uhhh 8mb is a good average per song so to fit 2500 you'd want 20gb. Not sure how big the file sizes are on your songs but if they are averaging 8 mbs than that is how many gb it would need.

-1000 mb in a gb. Though also if have all in one file on your pc is should say if you right click and check the properties.

-125 songs can fit on 1 gigabyte if they are each 8mb.

Looking at the ipod Touch online I tend to think it falls more in the tablet category than a phone. I'd probably go with just a simple mp3 player that is cheap and can fit a large micro sd card into it.

https://www.amazon.com/MYMAHDI-Digit...Y1KAXX0SZHWPC3

is an example. A 64 gb sd card is like 15 bucks.

Though not sure that is the exact route you want to go lol. Just a suggestion from someone who is up at 6 am in the middle of the night.

Personally I've always used the sandisk clip players because they are small and I can clip em on.

Not sure how Itunes work since never really been fond of Apple products in general.
