I've had a FB account for a few yrs and I never befriended my sisters
or brother 1) My younger sister never uses her real name and 2) My brother
doesn't have one I think? The only family members I befriended are my cousins
which one leaves two states away his sister live in another state for college
and my last cousin lives a few towns away. So I was a little surprise my older
sister sent me a friend request I accepted but at the same time I didn't want to
we're closer and all (not that close you perverts lol) so why did I feel the way I did? But there have been times I wanted to befriend her but never felt right.

I think sibling relationships are complicated. Maybe you're not that close? Maybe you're private? FB is weird in general. It's a weird concept in my opinion. People get hurt sometimes, things get weird and awkward. I don't know. Only you can know why you feel the way you do but I doubt there's anything wrong with the way you feel.

Something similar between my sister and I. She literally said she got sick of seeing my posts and unfriended me. We stayed not friends for years. But sometimes I have to be careful what I post because she'll run her big mouth to my dad lol. Yea we're not that close incase you can't tell lol.

I had to dump all of my wifes family. She is shat and her sister is the queen and I got sick and tired of seeing the crap. I have my mother, even though it is a very strained relationship, due to years of abuse, some of my favorite Aunts, one of my only Uncles that are left and a lot of my cousins! I just wish I could get down home and see my Aunt and some of my cousins still in the hills, one last time. And I can visit the graves of my Grandparents and my favorite Uncle one more time.

If I am posting something unsafe for my family to see that is a pretty good litmus test that no one should see it at all.

Befriend her then just click the option "unfollow posts" so you don't see her in your news feed. Then when you get your head around all of this you can undo that option.
